We, Alkis, Laisvie and Paulina are passionate about acro partnering and dance, so we have decided to start the RAINBOW ZONE, a platform for researching the colorful intersection between these 2 disciplines. We will be hosting a series of 3 laboratories with space to learn, exchange knowledge, and develop new possibilities. Not only straight lines, not only curvy spirals, but both

In these three hours every month we will dance, sweat, and get to know other perspectives from other enthusiastic movers like you! After warming up together, we will find common ground. What are the basic concepts of each world of movement? Afterwards, through some structured exercises we will invite you to be playful with the new tools and with your own habits!

Can you handle the excitement? At the end of the session you will have the space to practice other cool ideas with each other, as well as other acrobats and dancers from the community around the Vasim Circus Space. The jam (from 16 to 17) is open for everyone! So bring your friends! (We’re sharing this within our local acrobats’ and Contact Improvisation dancers’ groups)

This invitation is for people with experience in both dance and acrobatics. For example, that you can do a high bird (snoek in Dutch acro) and that you have been dancing regularly for at least 2 years. We trust your self-assessment and hope we can hit that sweet skills-challenge spot with each other.
